I have a bad idea for a novel protocol: associate users with a public-key instead of an instance. This solves the problems of nomadic identity (being able to freely move your account around instances) AND the problem having multiple AP accounts for Mastodon, PeerTube, WriteFreely, Gitea, etc. Kill two birds with one stone, er, actually I meant feed two birds with one scone!

Alright, excited? This is how it works: (hitting the Mastodon word limit...)

I migrated my development repo off of GitHub to a new location: gitea.com/Ta180m/gitea 🎉

Since there's some confusion about the current status a , I made an issue for tracking it: github.com/Ta180m/gitea/issues

If you're interested in contributing to , this is a great description of one of our current technical issues: gitea.com/gitea/go-fed-activit

Maybe I should start tagging my posts with hashtags more often...
